Set a preferred level for the things you love, like tidepooling, dog walks or digging clams, and a warning level for when the water gets too high for your beach. Tidesy marks both on every view, so one look tells you whether now is a good time.
We set them for you before shipping, based on the last three months of tides at your station.

The display is extremely energy efficient which allows the device to run on battery.

Power supply not included – Tidesy runs from any standard USB-C phone charger (5V, 2A), so you can reuse one you already have and keep another adapter out of the landfill. Need one? Add our Power Kit.

Frame:
- The main body uses PLA, a plant‑based, non‑toxic, biodegradable thermoplastic, offered in white and sand for a clean, modern foundation.
- Tidesy INK comes with an acrylic white faceplate only.
- The frame has a mounting hole. It stands on its own at a 90-degree angle to the surface.

- Every Tidesy is set up for you before it leaves our workshop. We use your shipping address to pick the three NOAA tide stations closest to you, check that each one is reporting good data, and load them onto your display, so the first thing you see is your own coast rather than a setup menu. A card in the box and an email before delivery tell you exactly which stations we chose and why.
- We also tune your tide alerts to the water you actually live on. Tides differ hugely from place to place: a few inches on the Gulf, two feet in Hawaii, ten on the Pacific Northwest coast. So we look at the last three months of tides at your main station and set your warning level and your preferred "best beach time" window to match. Want something different? Every setting can be changed from your phone in seconds.

About a week per charge with typical settings; faster updates use more. It charges whenever Tidesy INK is plugged in, so it also works as a backup during a power cut.
Does it work outside the US?
Tidesy uses NOAA stations, so it covers the US coasts, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Pacific territories.
What if my Wi-Fi changes?
Tidesy keeps showing the last tides it loaded and walks you through joining the new network from its own setup page.
